hey guys recently bought an S14a and the guy gave me the dyno results, as you can see there is something crazy going on with the power curve. He said it was the coilpacks going, I know unichip is not the best but I dont think the unichip would do this. I dont have AFR, but he assures me they were fine (yes I think he was honest) and have recently upgraded to Bosch 040 and noticed no difference. Do you think its the coilpacks, I was thinking about buying some spitfire ones.

current mods are:

exhaust

FMIC

boost 0.8bar

unichip

Bosch 040

Its either coilpacks or the ECU.

The ECU on SR's is nortorious for running rich as stink, so you really need an AFR graph.

Its not running factory boost levels, so im placing bets on the ECU. unichip really is a poor option.

I wouldnt purchase anything until you see the AFR's to be honest.

yeah, unichip is not my choice, I asked the seller and he assured me that AFR were fine, he wasnt the type of guy to stinge on that type of thing and it was also tuned by CRD, whom I thought would have some experiece in SR20s. Yeah I thought dyno was going to be the best option for me. I would have liked to have dynoed after problem was fixed.
