i think you'll find there are no lights in those housings. they have just just the std plastic outer cover, the molded in the the centres ..

Yer i thouht that, its just there to let the air throu, but surley its possiable for someone to do or has been done wid lights in them! lol these cars are modded all over the world surely someone has done something interesting to the r33 lights apart from the same old eye lids you see around

yes, as i said in the first post, member on GTR.co.uk has done it

he removed the clear outer lens , then painted the inner splitter piece car body colour.. bit of kitty hair to mold the plastic inner to the headlight body, sand back and paint.

WILD I WONDER IF I COULD GET ANY ONE TO MAKE THAT UP FOR ME??? LOOKS WILD!!! PLUS IT GETS RID OF THE CRAPPY YELLOW TINGE ALL TOGETHER!!!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat.
