Gas Struts For Boot

i don't know if this has been asked before but is there anything i can do to my gas struts to make it stronger? like.. my boot doesn't even open up anymore when pulling the trigger inside cabin.. it used to make a click sound then i just lift it up. I've tried lifting the boot while getting a friend pulling the trigger inside cabin and it opens so theres nothing wrong with the trigger.

I just want to know if there are gas struts i can replace to make the boot pops up like every other car that i see.. but i'm not sure if that's possible as the r34 boot is heavy and i got the gtr wing on it.

Is it supposed to pop up? Mine has always just unlocked, and Ive had to lift it by hand.

hrmz... mine never pop up before.. so i thought theres a way you could do it..

but now i can't even open it from inside.. you have to pull the trigger and lift the boot up at the same time for it to open (which is impossible for 1 person to do it) or use a key.. but then i have to turn off the engine just to open the boot..
