As of Monday 2nd April, Whiteline and Redranger have joined forces to form a new company called Redranger Pty Limited. This joining of forces is a merger, not a takeover or acquisition.

Except for a change of company ownership and a new ABN, there will be little change. However, the Whiteline warehouse have now moved to Somersby where Redranger is located. All calls including stock orders should still be directed to the same contact details as normal however, effective 02/04/07, all new & existing orders and backorders for both Whiteline and Redranger product will be shipped from the Redranger facility at Somersby. The normal Whiteline contact details will still work for a time, but the new contact details can be located at the new website: http://www.redranger.com.au

Troy,

I've recently fitted up the redranger front end bush kit - adjustable castor, adjustable upper control arm, lower control arm (that I didn't fit as mine were fine) and sway bar bushes. Picked it up for $380 but have since seen them going for $314

Damn cheap. Time will tell if they hold up. Done a couple thousand on them so far, no real noticable increase in NVH.

I had East Coast Suspension fit Redranger adjustable inner and outer bushes to the front of my car when the Whiteline ones failed after about 18months of track work. They didnt last as long the the Whiteline ones i ran before or after.

But to be fair i was running way mare cmaber when running them, ie 3.5deg rather then the little over 2deg i ran with the Whiteline bushes. The lubrication of the Whiteline ones seemed a bit nicer ???

Yes I noticed that also.. The Whiteline upper control arm bushes have better lube setup.

They really are easy as to fit up, no pressing in or out required. :O

Obviously I have a bit more knowledge that what has been made public at this stage.

This is a merger, no brand names will be lost, Whiteline (the brand name) continues, as does Nolathane.

This is a joining of sales, marketing and distribution, not a merger of production facilities.

I have read on some other forums that ALL the Whiteline staff are loosing their jobs. This is NOT TRUE, there are 4 staff (that I know of) moving to Sommersby. The production staff stay at Minto.

There is more information to come, so stand bye.

:) cheers

    • I'd ask the shop what they used and use that. Mixing coolants is sometimes OK, sometimes not, and you have know the details of each coolant to know whether it's a good idea or not.

    • Will have a look at that. I cant see any leaks
    • Put another overflow bottle (ie, a 1.25 coke bottle or similar) under the overflow hose and see if it is being pushed out there or if it is disappearing into the engine.
