Blitz EBC Settings

Hi all,

After surprisngly little trouble, I actually managed to hook up my Blitz Spec S EBC despite being a total NOOB when it comes to automotives. I've downloaded a manual and tuned it accordingly but I was wondering what all of YOU are running in terms of Gain settings and Ratio settings.

Also, (this is going to sound stupid) can you turn the boost down?

you can only go as low as the wastegate diaphram and spring will go.

If standard you are stuck at minimum of 5psi.

In terms of gain / ratios every car would be different i reckon.

Raist60. Cheers for the reply. Looks like i'm stuck at minimum of stock boost. Did have an idea to turn it down for when others are driving but oh well....

I realise every car would have different gain/ratio settings but I was wondering what other people actually had. Personally mine's on Gain 20 / Ratio 30 and getting about 0.72 bar on stock turbo and intercooler.

Anyone else care to share they're settings?

From what i've heard and read it's best to have gain a little lower (this helps eliminate boost spiking) and ratio a little higher (for max boost level). maybe gain around 15 and adjust boost to suit? not from personal esperience though, i'm hopefully installing the same unit on the weekend running up to around 0.8bar should be safe....
