40th Anniversary Front Bar (of 1998 Gtst)

hi all.. im wanting to buy a 1998 (i think is the year?) 40th Anniversary Front Bar.. if any one know were to get one it would help alot.. any idea of what the prices are for these if anyone has seen them priced before second hand?, and will this fit straight onto a 1996 series 2?.. no moding or changing the rio bar?.. thanx a heap

Good luck finding one for sale...but I'd say you're going to have to get a new one from Nissan, and expect to pay big $$ for that.

And it would fit straight on. no difference between the 98 and 96/97 in terms of front bar/front end

Not only that, i think they were 'optional' as i have a 98 with standard Series II bodykit.

yep definitely an option. my 98 40th anniversary has the standard S2 front bar as well. Links on here has a silver 40th anniversary with the bar...and there was another guy with a midnight purple 98 R33 with it as well...looks good, but doesn't have a very big opening from a front mount intercooler perspective

Thats my car. Yes it was an option on the 40th mods,and thanks to a kangaroo, the bar now has a nice split in it.

Yea the bars still on, looks like its had a repair job before, as it has split nearly in the same spot.
