Some M35's there would REALLY turn some heads! Even if there was only one :). better start makin the trip across the dessert for next year :)

OK guys!. Start importing some M35's! Hahaha

if only it was that simple...

Looks like you boys had a great day. Fantastic shots and a good turnout for the stag crew. I would have loved to come down but can you imagine the fuel bill from Darwin return :)

Keep the pics comin!

ken

would have been fantastic to see some M35's there! still a great turn out :D

Joe - yeah the bottom centre of the bar hasn’t been braced :) im getting the entire kit repaired and strengthened soon so putting a brace in is defiantly on the list

hopefully next year we can get a even better turn out!! :)

Hey guys and girls,

thanks for helping make the day an excellent one for all involved. We, as a crew (and especially "AboBob" Adam, as our club president), put a lot of work into getting this up and running, and I believe we had more Stageas there than R34 GT-R's. I know this was a FACT before we started the day, going by pre-registrations taken, but that might have changed as we signed people up on the day to join in on the show.

Also many thanks to all those who bought SAU merchandise to help support the club - it's been a long process getting it up and running, but I'm glad to see that you all like the products I've managed to get produced.

Thanks also to Mike's wife (damn my feeble mind for forgetting her name!!!) for taking a few group shots for me - apparently Brycey's got his ar$e out in the last shot we had taken!

I really wish I could have had more time to spend with you guys, but I'm sure we'll make up for this down the line with a group meet-up and/or cruise - hopefully soon, and indoors if it's going to be anywhere near as cold as yesterday was.

Yeh Nick, That would be great!

Hopefully we can get one more up on the show and have 8 Stageas on the day!

There was 6 for the Richmond cruise, 7 for the show, so it would be good to continue the run!

Ian is selling his red beast in about 6 months because he has to go overseas so if we could get one organised before then would be great!

I'd be happy to help anyway i can in terms of organisation :P

Would have been even better if Andy's EX stagea was there.. The Nismo kit with 260RS Front Bumper would have looked trick with the others :)

But maybe it was a good thing? cuz those group shot photos were abit stretched haha

i whould have been there but unfortunatly  EGA41T dosn't look so well anymore :domokun:

will be back to normal soon enough tough waiting on a bit more cash and some parts from japan to arrive then will be back in full swing will be at the next meeting for shure.

conggrts to brndon for the best stag

(wich one is it? )

looks like a good day wish i was there hopfully hope to meet everyone another day soon

Here's a link to the first Sydney cruise I organised, mainly because I promised Ian I would link him to it.

We had 4 there on the day: Brendan (beastien), Jay (R33Stagea), Andy (EGA41T), and myself.

Like I mentioned, we'll probably have to have the next one around the Central Coast again, as it's kinda halfway between where the main two factions of owners are, but with this Winter weather we might have to try and keep away from open fields or sea breezes.

I'll speak to a few of the Coasties from the show and see where they regularly meet up, and if it's convenient for all then we can try and meet there too - maybe have a bite to eat and sit down and chat.

i whould have been there but unfortunatly :) EGA41T dosn't look so well anymore :)

:O What Happened?

Yeh, Hope to see it on the next day out all good and well :)

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
