EVERYONE IS WELCOME, REGARDLESS OF WHAT FORUM OR MARQUEE YOU ARE FROM... EVEN IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A TRACK DAY BEFORE, COME ALONG I CAN GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL HAVE THE MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE WITH YOUR PANTS ON

Everyone has been asking for a weekend track day at Oran Park and we now have confirmed the first of two for 2007… Sat June 9th as the day.

In association with Ian Luff Motivation Australia... we will still be offering the same relaxed style event with the emphasis on driver education and fun.

A quick overview...

* Maximum of 60 cars

* x4 Groups of 15 cars

* 15 minute sessions

* $220.00 per person, must be paid for upfront

* No "official" timing but you are allowed to have your own timing

* Driver briefing at 8.ooam.. if you will not be allowed to participate for the entire day

* First group on the track at 9.00am

* All new drivers will be taken on a site in lap with qualified instructor John “Bozzman” Boston as well as Ian Luff’s other highly skilled driver trainers will be on hand on the day to provide constant driver training to all AUTOsports patrons at the event.

* We will be stopping for a half hour lunch; with a bit of luck James and the AUTOsports crew will put on a BBQ at the track for everyone as well as a some cold drinks.

220 for south?

hmm........

Chris,

The reason it is $220 for this day is because there will be 3 driver trainers on the day and Autosports isnt a cam's club so insurance is limited and expencive.

im in!

just wondering though, as i havent yet asked for my money bak from the eastern creek day, would it be possible just to transfer it to this event and then ill fix up the difference??

call me corinne if u wanna discuss it tonight

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
