its the same principles as a private investigator i suppose..

they're not cops, but can perform investigations and surveillance on people..

That came to mind, but that also opens a whole new can of worms as you haven't been employed by one individual to investigate one person EG: divorce situations, wife hires P.I to investigate Husband ect.. Your pretty much just filming random people.

Just look at the controversy with people using camera's at beach's, school events ect.. It's clear they are after someone to target the younger driver's... It will take one kids father/mother who is a barrister to sue the ass out of them

I know I can film stuff in relation to water and use it as evidence....then again I have certain delegations and powers under the act so maybe that is one of them.

That said I am sure we have used video from a public member as evidence too (I know it is a water issue not cars but evidence to non enitable crimes is still crimes???)...it didn't carry much weight but, as all the notes and stuff that have to accompany the video were not done properly, So I think if they are trained in gathering evidence properly it could be used and be effective in court

That said it would be pretty easy to spot the guy with the video camera, with his note book and GPS ha ha

for f**ks sake, dangerous driving isnt everything its cranked up to be.

Driver fatuige is involved in at least one out of 3 deaths, or so they say.

Alcohol must be at least that, if not more.

Then there are genuine accidents, mechanical failures, other misc crash's, say one out of 10.

Leaves what, say 25% for dangerous driving?

Its over-hyped.

And of that 25% probably 2% is an actual accident caused by the type of dangerous driving this person is trying to target.

But damn they must be pissed off about drifters to pay that sort of money. I mean give them 5mins normally they would right themselfs off.

LoL and its still a hotmail address. I cant take any job ad seriously that has a hotmail address.

Sounds like a job for Magnum P.I.!!!

$15 per hr for a casual job this is 2007, milk and bread costs about $6 to buy and fuel is $1.20 a litre.

Shit money.

You would probly make more doing a night shift at maccas.

I could think of better things to do between those times.

    • Am I correct in assuming that the R35's are getting the classic skyline haircut off the odometer?  Quick search on carsales, there are 33 08 and 09 GTR's for sale, only 2 of them have more then 100,000km's on them (116,075 and 110,000 respectively).  And somehow there are about 25 for sale with around 60,000kms? Looks like the classic skyline haircut to me =/
    • @Stringycheese  Have you only gone to the one blue slip workshop?  There will be a heap of them where ever you live, good odds that the next place you go to will pass the car.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?) every blue slip / engineering workshop will be different and will be happy passing or failing different things - despite working from the same set of rules. It's kinda like 2 lawyers arguing over a piece of legislation, each saying their interpretation is correct. Might seem strange that this happens when it comes to getting a modified car passed, but this is very much a thing. A big part of the game is finding an engineer / workshop that is on the same page as you.
    • Bah. I daily mine. ~60km per work day, 10-12 thousand km per year. What's the point of having a dirty old Datto and leaving it in the shed. It needs to be driven and enjoyed while the govco allows us to do so. It will only be a few years before we're forbidden to even start up internal combustion engines.
    • Judging by that spring perch and the normal looking spring on it - not a coilover. Well.... it is a coilover, just a stock format coilover, rather than what everyone calls a coilover.
    • Yes it is. We get stock from Nismo directly. I'm happy to take photos/video of it as proof before I ship it with timestamps or whathaveyou.
