that's a class website for sure!

However if you are the type of tosser that does stupid shit in residential areas and gets caught by these guys then you are a bigger loser than they are!

but they arent sitting in there houses waiting are they, they are following ppl around the streets in cars waiting lol

seems like some ppl have got not alot to do with there time except play toy cops. like seriously who would sit there til 3am waiting for some hoon activity even though they are getting payed. maybe they should start a work for the dole program for this.....

Just did a drive by of L. McElligott's house, and what do I see? A lifted Hilux with clear tail lights, polished bars and 4 HUGE spot lights on the roof...

Rego TANGO dark blue/purple in colour

really....

that car parks next to my work everyday, i think he might own/work at northshore paint and panel.

wonder what he has got to do with the whole thing?? maybe its his wife.....

$15 per hr for a casual job this is 2007, milk and bread costs about $6 to buy and fuel is $1.20 a litre.

Shit money.

You would probly make more doing a night shift at maccas.

I could think of better things to do between those times.

Its hardly a highly skilled, physically hard or overly stressful job though.

I'm sure a semi retired 60 something would be perfectly happy with that.

Maybe for shits & giggles someone could take up their offer & we could all collectively supply video footage of the average "safe" members of society showing their typically poor driving "skills". Turn their shit around on 'em........

:P @ this.....btw legalitites are a go....it is illegal to take pictures/film on the beach due to the issue of perverts etc...hence why you can't do it, however the rule doesn't apply to all other places so anything they get in a public place is fair game, but it's up to the police and the investigators evidence to prove you were doing something illegal, chances are you'd get reamed if "surveillanced" by these guys.

Talk about the biggest load of sh*t i've ever seen, these people need to get a life and start looking at some of the other reasons people are dying on the roads....rediculous, the money could be spent in a million better ways.

Really?

Wont cost much too fix... then... seeing he works/owns the place

thats my whole point ... if you are dumb enough to be doing stupid shit where these guys can catch you, and yes that includes when they are following you. Then you are a bigger loser than they are.

Actually nexus, they camp out on the highway, and actually film cars as they are driving.. so it's a little more than kiddies drifting around the local streets.

Hence they got one of our work vehicles, and a stupid rant about 'responsible driving a company vehicle on our roads'. I'd like to see how many deaths involve a company passenger vehicle - I reckon it's close to zero. Also, considering most of their 'monitoring' is during daylight work hours, which a small percentage of when accidents occur, they're completely off track, like most other 'crusades'

Country hicks with a 4x4 ? could fit the usual profile. Those that reckon sports cars are death traps, because their car can't get from 0-100 in less than 20 seconds, and tend to float all over the road, block vision of other drivers, etc, etc. But I reckon, probably the kids, or grand-kids car :)

True that, plus non ADR complaint looking "clear" tail lights along with 4 huge spot lights on the roof, which is not legal. The new 4wd max height rule would be interesting with this Hilux as well, it wasn't a truck-a-sourace 10ft jobby, but it wasn't stock height either. I think the tires came past the guards too.

Dob in a redneck?

That bitch needs to die, reading what she posts on that site even having an area for "hoons" to post makes me want to pull my hair out :D

Atleast i know who to thank for all random bad looks i get driving my car

I wonder if the government pays them etc?

correct me if i am wrong, but if you are under 18 and they video tape you, can you get them into trouble for stalking a minor?

where my father-in-law works, the neighbour was video taping them working late and stuff (cause the council told her to, cause she was making complaints), but then when the cops found out they went and told her that if she continued to video tape she would be charged with stalking, and she had recorded the boss's son, so she could've got into even more trouble.

I wouldn't be suprised, McElligott is a big name in the paint application industry.

Interesting.. This McElligott was in a old fibro and block home in the back streets, land is only good for future small commercial (doctor/dentist) or a small town house block... I wish I still had my RP Data log in's to back search what else they may own :)

*Looks at smoothline* :P He should still have long in's perhaps.

I reckon I could smash these people and their 'safe' driving. I bet their seating position, mirror position, steering wheel position, hand position on the steering wheel is wrong. Im sure their visiblity is crap due to the cameras and stuff. I would think they could afford better tyres than what they have. Tyre pressures are probably wrong too. And as Josh has already pointed out they dont have proper tail lights on one of the vehicles the accociate with... Which isnt safe anyway, because Im sure big tyres arent exactly the best for the road. Great off road tho...

What a joke.

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
