Shes pretty much sold on it How embarasing... my quiet as a mouse gf maybe having a faster car than mine... FOR NOW! funniest thing was ringing up and getting a quote on insurance... shes nearly 25 (2 months away) with a spotless driving record and im only 22 with a speeding fine and on the same rating with RACV theres like 200 dollars difference between the 2 quotes LMAO. She was expecting to get insured for like a grand at the max haha another thing was i got a quote with that soarer in my name and got a quote of 2500... asked for a quote on a GTR (1990 cause 89s arent in the list) which has the same sized engine almost, same amount of turrbos, technically the same power but the GTR i quoted has less mods and it came up with 2900 for full cover but thats no guarantee that the computer will accept it. I'm sorry to say that but i come from Malaysia and they are everywhere but this is not the problem .. sure its Torquey but its just not the best bang for the buck .. i'm sure there are much better cars in the market than a GTI .. and besides its a Proton ! you guys know how dodgy protons are right ? their sales here in Australia is so low, they are struggling with it .. just my opinion though .. just dont want you and/or your gf to regret .. inark, soarers are sweeet !! cheers guys !
