Its a sad day, yesterday I listed my GTR for sale. (see below link in my signature)

The bad news is, in the short term I wont be looking to replace my street car with a Skyline. I have 2 kids now so I will probably move for a 4 door family car until the kids are out of prams and car seats. An XR6-Turbo is the most likely choice at the moment.

I think out of all the cars I will miss the Black Beauty the most. The R33 GTS-T was my fist Skyline after owning a NRX. The white R33 GTR was a great work horse, but the R34 is such a great car I am already getting sad about moving it on. 8+ years with top rides I cant complain!

I will be keeping the R32 GTS-T TRKBCH, I will still keep some GTR heritage with the 3lt GTR motor, but it wont quite be the R34.

Anyway if anyone knows anyone who wants my car please let them know.

Thanks

:thumbsup::happy::/:D:(:yucky:

Leasing companys wouldn't let you get a Stag as they will be too old - oldest the car can be is 5 years when you go on the lease, than you have to get rid of it by 7 I think..

Oh well.. all good things come to an end eventually.. Maybe start putting some R32 parts onto your XR6 lease :(

oh noes :( so sorry you're selling! I never even got to see you out on the track!!! (Maybe once at oran park, but not sure if it actually was you!)

Hey its not sold yet, I still plan to do the L2S OPGP day on the 16th.

man that sucks

i just hope to high hell that whoever buys it loves it as much as you did...

also, tell them they have to sign up here :(

Manditory

I hope once it sells it does go to a good home.

Paul, Screw the XR6, get a TYPHOON

All the power and space for the family. May be a bit more of a whale on the track than the GTR, but they can crack 11sec 1/4 with only $5,000 worth of mods.

Sorry to see you selling the beast, it would be good too swap, but I am abouts to have my second kid.

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items

    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile

    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
