hey, hows it going guys/girls? recently had my new front kit fitted on and yeah did it myself and took photos along the way

here it is..

1st: Take off the old S1 front kit and in picture shows where all the screws are.

2nd: Had to cut the reinforcement bar so kit would fit on, a little adjustments too.

3rd: Trial fit the kit and make sure its not to wide or to small, Lucky mine was a perfect fit.

4th: Sanded the grey kit down lightly, gave it a first coat of red prime, some little cracks appeared and was fixed up.

5th: Sanded it down lightly and gave it another coat of black prime this time, no holes or cracks appeared, was clear to go for final paint and built some brackets to hold in mesh.

6th: Sanded lightly and then the final paint went on (Gloss paint)

7th: Fitted on the car now it looks sickkk well too me anyways. :unsure:

well hope you guys liked it and it helped if you guys are trying to take off your old kit..hahaha

yeah did it myself eh, well with a little of my dads help..hahahaha

yeah ive seen alot of people asking how to take off the stock kit eh..always wanted to show them how..but yeah..pictures speaks more then words..haha

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
