Dunno if anyone has read the Tiser yet but page 8 talks about an 18 y/o guy getting caught doin 200km/h in an 80 zone!

He tells the cops he was tired and "Didn't realise how fast he was goin"!!!

They have impounded his "1993 Nissan Skyline GTR"

Was in Melbourne but hey we don't need any extra attention thanks....

Yeh was with his gf apparently...must have been a hell of a HJ not to relise he is doin 200.

there's already a thread about this 'another teen sensation'

+1

there was an R32 GTR, dark red with black wheels, a P plater, kept teasing me for a drag on a busy Anzac hwy last sat night

im a drag queen myself, but not on a busy road

how do they (P plater) get insurance for a GTR i wonder

hope he gets his licence suspended for a very long time....

the problem is this doesn't stop idiots from driving.

there was a thing on the radio about a guy down at Christies being caught for drink driving for the 17th time, and he was driving with out a license. There really is no way to keep idiots off the road, short of locking them up, and i don't want to pay more taxes to keep em in the slammer

how is he luckly not to be dead? He could of been going 80 and went into the back of a ute and lost his head on some timber. Fact is speed has never killed anyone (apart from the drug) people are going to continue to speed so some of you saying it's making it harder for the rest of you must be dulisional. I've riden a motorcycle at nearly that speed plus 80 clicks and i'm not dead.

If you beleive "speed kills" like the government would have us believe you are a fool.

Who cares he got caught now hes gonna pay for it.

And now you say "ohh he could of hurt someone" well no shit but he didn't so who cares? he could kill someone at 80 just as well as he could at 200.

^^^^Well if he had happend to have hurt a family member of mine then he'd know about it! How can you say ""ohh he could of hurt someone" well no shit but he didn't so who cares?" and if he did! You for one on a bike would stand NO chance! Good luck to you!!

he could kill a member of your familly at 40k's.

If everyone pushed there cars everywhere people would still die.

I agree he deserves to be has his license suspened and car impounded. But you are going to live you life by "what if's" your gonna have a pretty boring life.

The way some of you guys drive in the hills is just as bad as what this kid did. Same oed for myself on my motorbike in the hills.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
