HI'YO!

Ok, this is our final week to get the definant entrants for Melbourne Auto Salon Melbourne on the weekend of July 12th

If you think you have what it takes to represent Skylines Australia of Victoria in this years event PM me or email me at [email protected] with:

Details of your car

List all modifications

Contact details

We need to find a list of roughly 10 cars

The dead line is this Thursday (5th July) so we could:

Get the forms filled out

Collect money ($100 per entrant)

Well be meet up on Friday/Saturday/Sunday to finalise

Guys stop whoring the thread... if you posted something here, you'll notice your posts have been moved to the this thread

Please reserve this thread for genuine responses from those that are certain they have:

a) $100 to enter their car for the weekend

B) the ability to live without your car for the weekend

c) have 6 different sets of tits n ass rub all over your car for 2 days

d) have time to donate towards our involvement in autosalon

Any other discussion, please use the other thread i've set up.

PS: CR34TION... anyone can enter as long as they are willing to do the above. We will (there is a group of reps from SAU and BMT) then pick the most suitable ones.

At this moment in time there's a fair few vacancies, and there is no set limit, as cabin is still waiting on a number from us. As you can imagine the style of cars can't be repetetive.

My GTR will be there as long as the engine can be rebuilt in time.

Had a bit of an incident just before Heathcote and hence my no show :cheers:

Let's just say that it was time for the engine to pack it in and have a rebuild which means that when we get out again, the rebuilt engine should hold some decent HP.

Yes my car is worthy! A VERY fine example of an R31..

      I am well aware as I did rant at him to buy a MX5, buy the 2.5 before he DIY'ed it, etc as well as do things to the holden. He will obtain a ND. It's the best of both worlds. They look great in person, definitely the best looking one. Just a matter of time now.

      ouch! how is the car now?I had sold my gtr but have been looking into some on trademe and a 260RS but I wouldnt be keen on any repairs needed on them

      Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
