nah its pretty easy, i use a folding set quare with a dial angle gauge and it usually gets me to within .05 of a degree.

the only issue you may encounter is the amount of factory adjustment, depending on how low you may run out of adjustment.

Dont forget that toe and castor (front) changes when you change cambers. Best done on a good wheel alignment machine. Take it to a suspension place, or a motorsport tyre dealer, most run of the mill tyre shops are dodgy and dont care.

for sure, so many times ive had to redo an alignment at home because of a dodgy alignment.

string lines FTW.... :) you would be amazed how precise a couple of crayons, some fishing line and 4 jack stands can be..... most of the time it is better than those fancy machines, i must admit thoug Resevoir tyrepower (motorsport experts) is the best place in vic i have found so far and we have tried all the big names. In fact he was the only shop we visited who could adjust the traction arms without me having to give a explanation as to what they actually do...

Is that what you call them? I've heard rear tension rods, rear caster rods, now traction arms.

ive got adjustable arms in the rear, and they are nearly perfect, with just a lttle neg camber, fronts are quite excessive though......Just need to know what the process is of adjusting, how much do i have to remove etc...

HAve you got adjustable upper arms in the front? If your front camber is excessive then you have to add some.

well start with a wheel alignment and see if it is your toe or camber causing the problem. If its your camber you will need to add adjustable upper arms or bushes

oh ok because i was told that adjustable caster rods will fix the problem.........because my problem is that the inside of my wheels is wearing (on the front)

lol and Adam.

The thing is uneven wear inside to outside can be caused by either toe or camber. toe can be adjusted from factory and can cause much worse wear than camber because it drags the tyre unevenly acrross the road.

caster rods will not fix your problem either way because they dont affect how the tyre sits on the road in a straight line only when the wheel is turned.

Caster, Camber and Toe are all different thigns and have different affects on the car. A wheel alignment will check them all.

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
