I am going to ditch my D2's and eventually go the SK Whiteline Kit for My R32 GTS-t.

So obviously I need start with getting a set of strut tops first.

I saw GTR stock suspension on eBay and I am wondering if the strut tops are the same. My guess is they are.

Thanks Guys.

i don't see why they would be different. They're just a pressed steel annulus with two bolts coming out of them (both front and rear)

in fact, if people keep saying that the only diff between a GTR and GTSt shock is the lower eyelet vs fork, then I'd say you could be 99% sure they're the same

i also think some guys have done a GTR rear cradle change, and use a GTR shock so the top plates should work fine.

baron might know - he's had both a GTR and GTSt

Why do you need new strut tops? All they do is hold the top of the shock absorber in place. The real work of suspension geometry is in the double wishbone stuff, which is totally independent of the shock absorber.

yeah they do line up

the tops only, i've tried using my GTS-4/GTR coilovers on my T, the difference is in the rear diff, although if you put in a GTR rear diff + cradle, they'd bolt up fine all round :P

think he is selling the whole D2 units, and therefore don't have strut tops.

The SK group buy shocks don't have strut tops, only the shock, the seat and the spring, meaning you need to use your existing strut tops

Yeah you hit the nail on the head there.

Kool Thanks for all the feed back lads.

Sydney Roads and hard suspension is killing me.

All models of R32/33/34 plus Stagea S1 and S2 have the same front strut tops. There are two length of studs in the front strut tops, the shorter studs can have problems reaching with really thick strut braces.

The rears, however, are different, R32 plus Stagea S1 and S2 have the same rear strut tops. All R33's and R34's have the same rear strut tops.

 cheers :D

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
