You will need to disconnect the driveshaft from the transfer case to the front diff on a 33 (or 34) to turn it into pure RWD, unfortunately.

The attesa wet multi-clutch plates in 33's and 4's run preload and never fully disengage.

I am assuming you want to do this for the dyno.

Go to the rear RHS of the car. Behind the wheel you will find 2 pumps with 2 leads going into them from the front. disconnect the leads to deactivate the pumps.

Get under the car and and near the end of the gearbox RHS of the tunnel you will see the attessa bleed nipple. Place a piece of hose over the nipple (unless you want fluid squiting everywhere) and release the pressure from the attessa clutch system - like bleeding brakes. You will lose about 100ml of fluid - retighten the nipple.

You should be ready to go. You will likely notice the 4wd warning light show up - normal.

When you have finished the tune reconnect the pump leads and you should be a ok. In the event you have let air back into the system you may need a minor bleed on the sytem.

This link will help with pics etc.

Cheers

Bear in mind though . if your car is AWD ( and you run it AWD most of the time ) your 2 wd dyno readout wont be that accurate.. but it will still tell you if anything is wrong etc.. and give you a rough idea of power output

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
