Item: Volk Racing - F Zero Winning 18s

Specs: 18x9" +35 18x10" +35 114.3 Suit GTR

Price: $1000 ono no tyres

Location: Gold Coast - Pick Up most definitely preferred

Condition: Good - couple of gutter marks and the fronts have a bit of 'inner' wear from scraping strut on full lock ;)

Reason for selling: Don't fit my GTSt neatly without mods and they're not my ideal rims so I can't be bothered making them fit

Contact: Dane 0404837187 or PM or in the thread if it's a question that others may also be wondering :(

As stated, this won't fit a GTST with stock gaurds etc. The fronts don't actually stick out past the gaurds, but the inside can scrape the strut when on full lock.

Also the rears stick out the tiiiiiniest bit on my GTST which is almost negligible, but unless your gaurds are rolled, you'll get nice little stringy bits coming of your tyres when making a 'g' or two around turns - unless you dial up some serious camber i suppose.

Oh and one of the rears had a little buckle in it (thanks must go to the previous owner for failing to mention that to me when i was asking about their condition... :) ) But it is currently getting fixed by depulu wheels and I'll even give you the receipt for that repair.

Here's the pic from the original listing from where I bought them, but I will get some more pics tonight of each rim (well the 3 that I have in my posession currently at least)

Pics (left to right): 1) pic from original listing...not sure which wheel that is? 2) rear left 3) front right 4)front left

Update:

Got the 4th wheel back and it is perfect!!!

except for the little mark that i put on it taking it out of the boot when i got home :D:laugh: which you can see in the photo. also there is some overspray on the rim itself that you can see (i'm a bit annoyed cos i liked the anodised blue even though you can't see it with tyres on them..

so here it (they) is ready to go:

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
