Hey guys, Just thought i might let you know not to go to a workshop, PM me for info. I work at a shop behind them and usually send alot of people with car enquiries there. But over the last few months have had nothing but stuff up's and complaints about there quality of work.... and have heard from other exhaust shops that they have been fixing up alot of there work... just thought i might let u guys know cause i have seen an r33 gtr in there today and haven't really seen many 'qualified' people working on it.... I am aware they are selling the business and seem not to care what happens

Sorry mate, defamation is a very real concern these days, I know it sucks but the last thing we need is SAU being sued. Guys if you really want the name of this shop, please PM redevil

anyway as if u get an exhaust shop to fit ur exhaust i can do it cheaper... and wont jeapodise with shabby workmanship haha...

and with the amount of after market quality exhausts on the market like JASMA, HKS DRAGGER, X Force and even a few aussie brands like the BTMBL and even FLYN is an OK front dump piece of kit... i use the term OK loosely...

i would highly recommend the GKTech exhaust systems they are mainly for silvias.. and for $350 turbo back for a S14 u would expect problems.. the only draw back is the compound gaskets which any shop can replace with a multiply piece..

You get what you pay for, simple facts of life, people mostly goes for the cheapest price and deals with the hassles down the tracks.
Couldn't agree more Wayne :D Quality usually costs more initially, but often saves you money in the long run because you don't need to do it more than once. Do it properly, do it once

hmm id still want to take my car to a QUALIFIED person, rather than in a backyard 3rd year apprentice. Difference is quality and warranty and someone who specializes in exhausts.

Yes you do get bad shops, but you got more bad back-yarders.

i would be qualified by now.. anyway.. funny that.. last time we talked u seemed to knw alot less about ur gtr... go figure.. and ill tell u now ive got far more experience with imports than ur regular ultratune and service dealership... what do u pay for experience..??? :mrt: and ther is more than enough happy chaps on here on BC and NS.com who cna vouch for my workmanship... and if it wasnt top notch why havent i heard any complaints..? lets see ur mechanic pull GTR turbos off in under 3 hours :laughing-smiley-014: .. i thought soo. and btw thats on the ground with hand tools.

yeah +1 for mark to work on my car

thanks brendon, give me that call when u want ur work done. im off to sydney on the 11-18th as most of u knw so holiday time for me. :)

looks like someones on the back foot about their work. but anyways. im not the one going on about how good i am here when its apparent you cant tell a steel or ceramic wheel exhaust wheel apart, and neither can i.

one thing you seem to lack about what i said is that Quality is what most would pay for. sure you can rip a turbo off in under 3 hours, wooooot lets have a party and get happy that you can do that. you seem not to understand that its not about speed or how many people can vouch for you, its the fact that you buff yourself up so much about how good your prices can be, how quick you can do it..... but man, when sh!t hits the fan because you forgot to screw in a bolt, what are you going to do? offer a warranty, for the same dodgy job? yeh you would be qualified now...... unfortunately your not.

Also last time i looked at your gtr there were vacuum lines in places they weren't supposed to be... hmm workmanship, little i saw. end of discussion.

haha :sorcerer: congrats to u.

lets see u do things quickly cause u can. cause u KNOW what ur doing :) .. do ur research before stating things mate.

my GTR had many Nismo/N1 items from factory, cluster, bilsteins, N1 TURBOS.. which i think if u do ur research are Steel :) when checking mine i was looking at the exhaust wheel i confirmed with the part numbers when i traded for the type x.. got anything else to pick mate..?

vacuum lines in places they shouldnt be.? yes a vacuum line running over the engine as it was too short and it was tapped into the FPR line.. so that makes the car dodgy how.. before u start picking shit on my old CLEAN GTR look at ur 17old bucket, from memory it had a shagged box, was heaps slower than even my 180, a unsecure front bar bits of damage everywher. so i dnt knw where ur going with this.?

so much for being filo mate..

now back on topic and any other taunts please direct them to my PM box :)

:O

haha nice. do u feel big MR KEYBOARD WARRIOR...??

so far the only thing you have contributed to this thread is a statement saying that i am dodgy/ all Back yard mechanics are dodgy.

and so far you have prove nothing, uve been unable to prove that i have stuffed any job up, that i maybe incompetent, and that i am said dodgy so unless u can prove back up what u are saying i suggest u shut the f**k up as u only making urself sound like a complete tosser with the blatant attacks.

so i challenge u mate prove me wrong.

and for the record i have not worked on your shitter GTR. and it is a crime what you have done to it. and im not the only one that thinks so.

now back on topic

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
