The real question is:

If we had babies would it be an EVO?

Do two GTR's produce an EVO? Did anyone do genetics / cybornetics at Uni?

I would believe if you look at the genetic make up of two GTR’s the molecular structure and compounds would make it impossible for the fusion to take effect for a EVO to take shape, as the structure and components are such of a high grade in a GTR it would not be possible as the cheaper tackier internals and exterior of a EVO just make the idea of this just silly.

Now if you splice a pot belly pig with an elephant then that would be cool it would be a bellyphant.

Who ever told you your facts you need to ignore from now on.

The weekend of DECA (Aug 25-26) is a round of the AMRS at Winton. So IF there is any cars there practising they will be pretty cool to watch. But given Winton does their Friday's in 3 groups of 20mins (20mins Bikes, 20 mins Racecars and 20mins street cars) the amount of track time you'll get won't change. But I doubt there will be many there given the Saturday is practise for the AMRS cars anyways.

Plus it's a $100 and its 3hrs from Melbourne so I've never seen more than 10 cars there on a Friday - although this may have a couple more given it is the week before Dutton Vic and few cars could be out for a shakedown / giving co-drivers a test run behind the wheel. But you will leave the day with more than enough laps under your belt to have made it worth while.

blame duncan for my facts...

and blame me for my paranoia about a packed track.

anyway.. given you've cleared that up for me! I'm in for winton

who in VIC is going?

I'm still good for Winton on Friday. If I'm driving that many miles, getting another day of motorsport is a good thing.

Are passenger allowed at Winton? Would be good to catch a ride with one of the locals to learn the track.

I just spoke to Winton and since the round of the AMRS is on that weekend it will be a cars only day with the sessions split up between open wheelers / race cars / street cars. So should be great to watch.

No passengers unfortunately - and you can't even practise on Xbox :domokun:

But here's a half decent youtube link for some visual ideas

excellent TJ!

Jess... I'll get back to you re: accom tonight, or early morning tomorrow sometime as I need to organise what I am going to be doing on Thursday night for accom for Winton (I know someone said something about it but I've gotta find the time to go back and read about it)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
