sorry 34boy... promises won't cut it. This is what will happen:

We decide on a design

I send off for samples

Samples arrive

I take squillions of pics of samples

Everybody puts money down for a cap, including colour preference.

I order the caps.

Caps arrive.

I send caps out to the people who ordered them.

Also we might regulate who exactly gets them as we don't want people who we cannot account for running around with caps.

ie if you want a cap you'll have to attend an event or be a paying member in NSW, we won't be giving them to anonymous people as our credibility is put at risk if people are seen doin stupid shit while wearing out banner on their heads.

(or sumfin like that)

Still no word from Nissan Aus Funky... but I'd say go with that design... Nissan Aus seem to take there time in deciding on things... shame they didn't take as long deciding to stop selling the skyline locally or we would be preordering the V35 right now!

Funky

Very late notice but I would love to see one with ...

1. Only the Skyline "S" symbol on the front.

2. "SAU" between the R33 lights at the back.

Will take a couple of each any way they turn out.

Can someone let me know of any details of how and where to buy etc.

Go for it!

El Bee

still under negotiations... tryin to weed out some stuff with the manufacturers.

Might also have some jackets if they agree to it... but yeah, that's just a possibility atm, not planned.

    • Hell, I'm sufficiently wary of the ZSS suspension arms, let alone something like a hub.
    • Got it back home and got started pulling the hub off and diagnose the issue. Axle was stuck after removing the 36mm nut so i used a 3 jaw puller to try and push it out and... eH5FXvJ8.mp4   spend the next few hours trying to remove the axle from the remaining hub as it was very much jammed in there when the spindle sheared off. resulting damage as below R53AIy6 - Imgur.mp4   Looks like the was already a stress fracturing in the spindle as can be seen with the darker cracked section My working theory is maybe when the pinion gear exploded last year the shock put through the hub was the initial crack. Then a few events later it finally let go. Just lucky it happened where it did and not 190km/h on the next sweeper or into the hairpin The bearing/hub assembly went in in 2019 and were non-genuine "ZSS" assemblies and no nails were harmed in the process. #BreakHubsNotNails
    • Thanks mate, couldn't find in VIC, ended up ordering one from NSW, getting rwc to get new plates and registration done.
    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
