MADGT4
Seems a bit rich i recon.... I picked up a near new/pristine HKS2835 Pro S for $1500 with an extra larger exhaust housing. A turbo like this would have much better response.... But that said i would go with what a couple other people have said and head down the 2535 track. You will get stomping response with something like that! discopotato03
They are laggy because depending on which way you look at it either the compressor is too big for the turbine or the turbine too small for the compressor . The result is the same and altering the number of turbos has no effect on the missmatch . Cheers A . Birnie
You have chosen very well indeed ! (so jealous) All your mods will be a great match for this turbo too. Can't remember if you;ve done it but be prepared for a new clutch That's where i am with the 2535 and yours will be heaps better Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/178494-hks-2540-1500-should-i/page/2/#findComment-3258440 Share on other sites
fEkuaR
Yeah deffinately a better choice, the car will have unreal response. And to me thats more important that a big power figure. Id sacrifice top end and day for midrange, because to me thats what makes a sports car. discopotato03
Just for the record whats the go with these new GT2535's ? I'm pretty sure the HKS spec Garrett one is out of production and has been for a while . I think they had a non GT compressor altered to give ~ 69mm 56T dimensions . If someone has made up a GT2871R with the Nissan/Garrett style compressor cover its not really the same thing . Cheers A .
