No, not at all, its just that Cy is a dodgy bastard that sells unsafe cars to unsuspecting people all the time.

LOL!

Nah, really, it gets in the way of the clutch pedal if you leave it there.

I'd change it if doing the conversion myself, as Dale said the auto brake pedal would be in the way when you push the clutch in.

Mine's been converted to manual (before I bought it) and it has the manual brake pedal in it.

<crys> Seriously though, why the hell wouldnt you want a proper hand brake instead of that shitty foot one?

Make me proud bernard, she deserves it!

whats the difference one you use your foot, the other with your hand, just curious as everyone has their own opinion, cheers guys. doing the conversion

over the next month, getting the parts needed together

well....about 800 for all of the parts from Nissan is the only reliable way to get them. all part numbers are in the manual conversion thread.

they come up on yahoo japan second hand sometimes but they are just too expensive you might as well buy new

Ahhh, dude, calm down.

I dont think he was being a dick, just simply making a remark. So, he wants to slide a Stagea, who cares. You are being the hater here, not him.

All motorsport should be respected in any form, a drifting or a sliding wagon. Doesnt matter if its not your style, its someone elses.

But honestly, from me to you, what the hell was the point of making this thread? Have you even had a look under your dash at your pedals. You might then notice that the brake pedal sits up close to the steering console on one side and then on the other side sits.... the foot brake. How would you fit a pedal in there? You cant. Who the hell wants 4 pedals any way, there is absolutely no logic to that.

Anyway, all the best with the conversion.

im calm mate, funny how people cant tell what expression people are leaving when you write in text.

i dont care if he slides the stagea, good luck to him and it would look mad. im not hating on anybody, his post was innappropriate, didn't answer my question, and i respect other peoples opinions and styles, and no i have had no chance to have a closer inspection as i dont see my car from day to day. cheers for the help though, and cheers for the luck. :P

Hey Grant have u done any drifting in your stagea yet? i want to see some footage of stageas drifting (besides the 1jz one on youtube), i'd love to give it a go when my engine is finished for a laugh and see how it goes. I got the power and rock hard suspension so should be alright, and people reckon long wheelbase cars are easier to slide and control

bleh

i have to reset timing (advanced too far think i might just take it one tooth back on teh CAS hehe)

finsih brake ducts

install gauges

etc etc before i take it to the track

it does however do well on the mountains bwahaha

but no, no footage yet

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
