will there be the option to show up on the day and pay your money then?

i reckon there's a 75% chance i'll be there just can't confirm as yet

Yes we will allow entries on the day, however since everyone else has put their money up front to help the day go ahead...

How does everyone feel about an additional $5 donation for those that only turn up and pay on the day?

Good idea

Say where are these GTR owners in Canberra!!

This one's up on stands, with its pants down getting some new lungs. As per Steve's white BNR32 thread, i cant wait to thrash it on a dyno. A mate with a 250+ kw S14 has roasted its clutch too so no good their either :worship:

Ill rock up for a squiz though

Well it seems like we have a set number of people with no one pulling out and maybe a couple of extra on the day for $60 each. If you come on the day to pay, come see me and I'll organise to put you in (after everyone else) so rocking up at 12noon is probably OK.

This is a great effort.

I will be in Sydney working for the next few days so won't be able to answer questions on the forum, but I'll be back late Friday.

Cheers,

haha im going to be so rooted for this, looks like a long arse work week (hopefully doesnt make it to 70 hours) and saturday is my only day off (not even guaranteed it will be a full day off). Perfect timing though, have been having a few -possible- problems with AFRs recently and this can give me a definite.

In that case I will send you through a pm for another car in the hope you get it before you leave...

Has anyone advertised on any other forums or is the turnout large enough for a good day out?

quick question, im throwing my ute on the dyno, however, it has traction control, but no switch, so i cant turn it off. which i think means that when its on the dyno, and starts spinning the rollers, the car will see that the front wheels are not moving at the same speed and stop the rears. does that sound about right to anyone?

Good Q: Iv seen many BA's on the dyno though...

Try the BA forums man :P:D

Sorry guys won't be able to make it, car won't be ready for a little bit longer due to parts delays and in any case have to go to Sydney on Friday to Sunday so won't be able to make it. Hope it all goes well.

Keep an eye out for a silver 33 i recently did for Adam should do some ok numbers.

If you have the owners manual for the car it may tell you how to turn it off.

I have ssn it mentioned in there before

My car's in a whole lot of pieces at the moment. Took it in Monday for some work but now looking like I may not get it back by the end of today (ugh). I might have to ring up and book a postponed run too. Which sucks cos it won't be as much fun doing it on my own. Might see if I can get a friend go with me on Saturday, even if I don't have my car...

*fingers crossed*

I have a couple of issues.

1- I now wont be able to pay until i get there

2- I have to be in town at 3:30 so wont be able to go last as the rules state.

3- I still have the stockie mcstock stocks on the back and traction will become an issue

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
