stock power should be around 200rwkw, but quickly goes up to 240-260 with boost controller, exhaust and a tune/re-map =)

after that, you decided what power you want to get to hence what turbos you want, and start doing supporting mods for them till your ready for the turbos... then the sky is the limit =P

edit: well, thats my plan at least... and im pritty sure thats what ALOT of the other gtr owners do as well

well, i'm sure mine is stock, with a few little things done already (exhaust and ECU) and its getting stock kws

so for me it'll be a boost controller: about $450 fitted, Hi-flow CAT $380 fitted and tune $200... so about $1000 and i should see those kind of figures depending on the condition of the engine (i think boost worx charge the same amount for a tune or a re-map, but would have to double check with shaun)

if you check out the wasteland sinful got her 32 gtr to 260 with just a power fc from what i can remember (probably also a boost controller)

I would imagine a full exhaust from turbos back, boost controller and an after market ECU + tuneup and around 1 bar of boost would get you damn close to that mark ?

Infact, u might not even need an after market ECU ?

PM Hostile from on here as he is at 300+ rwkw and has spent hardly anything.

260 rwkw

Turbos back exhaust

Pod filters

Fuel pump (not necessary, but good insurance)

electronic boost controller set at about 18 to 20 pounds

PFC

z32 airflow meters

possibly upgraded front mount

This will get you really close to your 260 rwkw and the GTR will eat your gtst through the hills and in a straight line.

Watch out for the oil pump in 32's as have seen to many dead 32 motors duel to the oil pump failing.

If there is something i have missed please add to the list if you think he does or does not need something.

Yep Shaun you spot on...

As I said before mine has a later model RB26 that came with HKS cams, bigger injectors, N1 spec turbos and a fuel reg.

Dyno at stock boost was 233kw at wheels

Put in power fc... tune at 13.5 psi= 251.4kw at wheels (conservative tune waiting on better clutch and boost control)

Added blitz sbc spec R and twin plate clutch= easy 303.5kw at wheels on only 18psi.

I still have stock dump pipes as well!!

There is no comparison between GTR and GTS-t.... TOTALLY different driving experience.

There is nothing like stepping off the clutch at 7000 rpm and launching a GTR.... everything else disappears in the distance behind you!!

My old R32 gtst had 237rwkw....my new R32 GTR has 208rwkw....and the GTR still feels better. Basically alot more torque and power straight away.

Will have 300+ in the coming weeks. :PBJ:

Ryan

what have u done to the stock engine to get up to 300??

No comparison....

The first thing you notice in a GTR is the amount of grip, or the feeling of stability.

The GTS-t feels a lot more twitchy where the GTR just sticks. You often don't feel like your pushing the GTR until you glance at the speedo!! It is just effortless.

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
