sounds ok to me. a little bit low but nothing to worry about.

basically it should be around 30psi at idle. above 3000rpm (regardless of throttle position) it should be 60psi+.

Whats with this though?

full throttle goes from 40psi to 80-90psi then all the way back to like 40-20psi while at full throttle

Oil pressure vary's considerably while giving it a full rev. 40-20psi can't be too good at the upper rpm's. :S

kool but wen i do full throttle from 5krpm to 8krpm it goes from 40-psi to 80+psi then befor it gets to 8krpm it goes back down to like 20psi crazy shit. keep in mind that this happens while at full throttle.

As Cubes says, get another guage and see if the guage is the problem. If so it's a cheap fix, just get a new guage.

ok got a new guage and still dose the samething while driving normal it gives me normal psi numbers but wen i do fullthrolle psi goses up and down up down why?

yeah check your oil level asap.

oil level is right on the line wen i do oil change i put 4/5 quarts i have the rb25 oil pan is this good or not im making 454whp on gt2530's.im thinking that i might be runing out of oil at high rpm.maybe it dosent come down fast enough for the pump to create pressure again. :( ?

Im not as familiar with the 25 as i am with the 26. On the 26 it has a sender mounted under where your oil filter is. They very commonly read inaccurately on the 26's, so im hoping for your sake its the same deal on your engine.

You need to get a master guage which will screw into where your oil pressure switch normally goes. Thats the safest way to check your oil pressure and know exactly what its reading. If you dont have one, take it to a garage and ask them to check it for you.

Good luck mate ;)

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
