i had a look at buying them too. they look pretty good on that 34. but i deciding that i couldnt go past the model 5 look of the hijoin rims. plus never liked rims that have spokes that dont go all the way to edge of rim. like 3 piece, those drift Rs, etc. just that in 18s they look like 17s and 17s look like 16s. my 2 cents

i find that most of the jap wheels that i see are farken ugly, especially when they are black or blue, etc. for example i would never even consider putting on nismo lmgt1s, for the example i gave above plus they are down right fugly. sweet jap rims are avs model 5, 6 and kreuzer, r34 gtr, buddy club p1 racing, volk te37. but like tony said it comes down to the individual. if you like the rims, buy them.

i got Roh's on mine but Adrelines.

Those look ok but look more like something that would come standard with a ford or holden - good price tho - if u like them then u should go for them - they wont look ugly.

I saw these wheels in HPI mag i think (some mag) they looked a lot better in that photo.

I dont like the Drift R logo. A bit tryhard to ripoff the GTR logo in my opinion. Why not use some creativity and be original instead?

Thats a pretty lame criticism but it would put me off buying them so...

The above rims are VERY expensive. Buddy clubs are $5,000? GT-R rims are always CLASS.

Volks you know how expensive they are.

It is a bit unfair that you compare rims that are thousands to a cheap set of $1,200 rims.

But again no-one said SAU did not have expensive tastes ;)

T.

i was comparing them to the work meisters and nismo rims. Buddy clubs arent worth anywhere near that. maybe in 21s

even if i could afford them i dont know if i would go for the big brands. model 5s have been my favourite from the second i saw them, so... i bought some hijoin copies cause of the all the copies around i thought they were the closest. plus it was good that they were the cheapest :P

avs model 5s :whackit:

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
