yer i know some people are getting desperate and selling full house gtr's for cheap .. im not desperate for a super cheap sale atm even though the price im asking is cheap .someone that appreciates the car will buy it .. only time will tell i guess.

People this is a well priced car!!!

I sold my 32 GTR a month or 2 ago for 29000, had full 350Z Daytona Blue Respray, fresh (1000kms old) forged rebuilt engine with everything stock, turbos, fuel system, management. Stock. Just a zorst. It was a mint, mint car, drove like new. Was as impressive as this just without the mods!

For the mods and appearance of this car its well worth the money!

Free bump for this awesome car and a bump to show theres not much point offering any less than that being asked because its well worth it.

I would buy it but it needs a front window

thanks for that femno appreciate it mate .. you got boody good money for ur car also, just goes to show that the right person will pay the money its worth .

jason........ i will pick up that window hopefully this week been flat out ... maybe we can do a deal with ur 34  .....

we'll then start dropping the price if your serious about selling, this has been advertised for a rediculous amount of time.

From face value it looks like a pretty good car (although a tad overpriced).

^^^LOL about being overpriced

but i guess everyones entitile to "their" opinion...

this aint your everyday $18k lucky dip GTR, buy one and try to replicate this thing and youll figure its worth well more than the measly $36k being asked and not just face value but beneath the surface also...

hang in there kng-180 its your pride and joy!!!

everybody jus want their cake for free...

ok so coming close to 20 months this car has been advertised, why hasn't it sold yet?

ppl do understand how much it cost's to build a car to that standard but what you got to remember it isn't a commodity, an asset or an asset that could be depreciated so there is no intrinsic value. Sure you can spend 100K on it, doesn't mean that you will get that, but I shouldn't need to tell you that.

GL with the sale, hopefully somone is willing to pay for it, but you may find that 24 months quickly approaches, and the fact that performance parts do wear out over time suggests something.

i hear what ur saying but at this stage im not prepared to let it go for peanuts when the time comes for me to depart overseas i may have to reduce the price to sell the car if i need cash .other wise ill keep it and strip it .

    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
