bezender
Elliot, be carefull with how you word that official complaint mate if you make it... instead of making an example of the cop that pulled u over, it could make you a target for other cops Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/186604-defected/page/2/#findComment-3376081 Share on other sites
MikeyGTRmike
i got one from regency a while ago but dont know if they have em anymore.... contact motor reg department and see if they can point you in the right direction, they usually have info for anything motor related Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/186604-defected/page/2/#findComment-3376234 Share on other sites
chops
i only got the pod filter secured on a bracket a few weeks ago when i got my turbo put in to avoid gettn defected for it. all the mods on my car are very hidden including the power fc unit. the cop couldnt find anything hence why he defected me for bullsh*t mods. i am going to make an official complaint, ive got the sheet. I had my mate with me so he can back me up with what happened. but it's true some cops pull me over to check if the car stolen and then they would usually say 'nice car' or something friendly, but unfortuantly i got an arsehole. It sucks that Skylines are being targeted, but basically your defectable car got defected, and you're going to complain because they defected you for the wrong things? Let us know how that goes. Evil34
Unfortunatley it is the sad truth that the police can pull you over for no reason and slap a defect on your car. It does not even have to be defectable it is only in the opinion of the police officer to be defectable. Everytime we drive our cars on the road we are taking the risk of being defected and especially if you have been defected before and are in the system. chops
It's not about empathy, I feel he is going to end up making the situation worse for himself, rather than better. Also your contribution since arriving here is far from positive for the skyline community zamels - "OMG MY CAR RATTLEZ AT 260 IZ IT NORMAL?". Luciano
like Carl said Elliot, be careful with your words when writing a complaint to the porks. Most complaint matters of this regard would usually get tossed and put through the shredder without the complaints advocate even taking any action to investigate it. and when you go to chase them up and try and push them into some action desicion making with the complaint, they will reject your request, and just make you line up and go through the system (ie vehicle inspection) like everybody else. Believe me, i tried mate! but good luck though. Anything can happen if things get in the hands of the right or wrong person working within the transport arm of SAPOL. Boof
One of my mates that had been defected a few weeks ago were in the car, he was explaining that an internal wastegate was needed, but the pig said to us if we say anything else he'll book me for something else. i was coming down milne road toward mcintyre road, he was behind me on milne but decided to follow me then pull me over down the bottom of mcintyre. i went to the cop shop right after it happened i gota a blank stare from the stupid bitch at the counter, so i just said get me a complaint notice. Im just really pissed coz my car will be off the road for ages while i source stock suspension, airbox, take out power fc, avc-r, turbo....ect. Don't forget the injectors (and you'll have to source some standard ones cause the standard ecu won't run the 550cc's), some standard suspension etc etc....... Elliotws
nice empathy, tool Apparently i have a friend lol. Im aware that my car was defectable, but it is annoying when you put so much money and time into making the car inconspicuous and you get pinned. im not stupid either im aware that sapol are very closed ranks and that any attempt to attack a police officer would be a one sided affair. i can be tactful while alerting them to the problem Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/186604-defected/page/2/#findComment-3379355 Share on other sites
