rsx84 Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 i am looking to build an rb30det in the next few months and have a chance to get an rb30et enginge, the price difference is a is around $500 and i wanted to know is it worth spending the extra to get the rb30et block, whats the difference?? cheers, matt... i would have searched as there are lots of threads but i'm only after this info at the moment and some of the threads are 1000's of posts long..... TTT Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 there is no difference between the turbo and series 2 NA blocks. the series 2 NA block just has a hole blocked up by a bolt where the turbo one has the turbo oil return line plumbed in. I'd get the NA block as it has never had any pressure over atmospheric pressure. ie - none.
