massive props to her

Plus you're doing your little bit for SAU :P

Not looking forward to work next week. Had yesterday and today off due to flu, and will be off tomorrow as well. No one does my job when I'm away, so Monday will be hectic. :) Actually, the whole week will be: moving house, 2 assessments, and a week and a half worth of work at the office. :(

Everyone has had a sickie today.

I had a CT Scan on my back today and found a bulging disc between L5 & S1....feels like a knife in the back and can barely walk.

Won't be out on the road tomorrow either I reckon.

any good back people on here?

Yeah, Aust has been real productive this week not :)

I've got a pretty good back, considering I've been thrown down the road a few times, one "major" car crash, and an international tournament career that saw me hit the mat hard many times. But I go to chiro every month and have my own fitness program to stay "fit" or what resembles fit :P

+1.

Woke up this morning with a pain in my sternum. Either I got kicked in the chest by Chuck Norris, last nites bourbon burnt a hole thru my oesophagus, or Im having a 12 hour heart attack. Hurts like watching australian idol when I move my head back or to the right.. gah

-D

I've been having sleeping troubles... towards the morning I keep waking up approximately 4pm and 6pm give or take within half an hour of each and around the 6pm one its harder to get back to sleep so I end up being dead tired when I need to wake up an hour and half later. Its rediculous its been happening the past month EVERY DAY the same routine... wtf?... any psychiatrist on SAU? lol

new anti bikie laws came into effect today. Channel 7 news update "police raided the gypsy jokers headquarters today, they found nothing and made no arrests"

Rann really is a f**king idiot. :P

Vu, maybe have a look at your diet and how late you eat at night

try a glass of milk before bed Tryptophan

My diet isnt too flash during the day I guess, dinner is good and ranges about 6-8pm - though my diet hasnt change really its weird its been happening of recent. Cheers for that page too - tryptophan could be the culprit doesnt look like much of what I eat has much of it hrmmm

Well my drive shafts are out now. Have to go get new boots for them tomorrow sometime and refit that tomorrow night. Nissan only manage to get 3 washers in for the Brembo's saying i would have to wait 7-10days to get it from Japan  Ended up just filing out a smaller one to make it fit.

Braided lines have been sent from Melbourne :)

Will also chuck the R34 GTR master cylinder in tomorrow :D

my insurance got to be paid real soon.... noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm dying to take the Italian out for a ride!

Gunna get insurance for the Mv Augusta tomorrow, so I can ride her on the weekend. :D

Was with Swann Insurance, but they suck balls. I've already crashed her once, and Swann gave me nothing but headaches. But no way in hell I'm riding it without insurance

BTW doing a track day at Mallala on the 20th this month, if anyone wants to see me crash

thats the spirit :P:banana:

I wonder if they'll get heavy handed with all bikie association and whether that also includes the Longriders who are ex outlaws.

I have a couple of mates that are members, does that mean that I can no longer catch up with them once a month??

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
