I agree with Andrew, Brosnan was awesome, Craig is a crap Bond IMO, there, I said it :P

Craig is certainly the closest to the original novels.... more brutality and action which is equivalent to where the character is at casino royale (aka a new agent without any refinement)

Connery did the refined Bond, but what made him great was the fact he could seduce a woman and then not give a crap that she dies in the next scene ; which is what happens after the casino royale novel (because he looses the one he really loved and just numbs up)..

Moore tended to play up the romancer which was a departure from the core of the series but people liked it...

Dalton was the emotionless/vengeful bond. He just didnt suit the role tho and it wasnt very believable because he just didnt get it..

Brosnan was OK but he was basically being a mixture of the last 3 bond actors mentioned; he didnt bring anything new to the character....

Funny to say this tho, Craig is probably going to be one of the best Bonds provided they keep making the series and he sticks with it thru his career... I havent seen quantum of solace but soon I shall

yeh i only got stock one... that hasnt changed from when i was driving it yesterday...

i read in the forced induction thread and done everything it says in there and still nothing....

now i cant even drive it to the tuner to get him to do it :@:@:@:@:@:@:@ y do i bother?

brosnan looked the part

LOL speaking of which, my favourite would probably be Die Another Day, pretty much soley for Rosamund Pike  (Halle Berry rates a small mention also )

But other than that, The World Is Not Enough is good too. I went and got From Russia With Love as I wanted to try and get into the older ones a bit more.

no one got a pfc with 550 nismos in it to tell me wat thre injectors are set at????

dude

im not an expert on this shit but i recall somewhere that small capacity (under 800cc) nismo injectos have the exact same latency as stock injectors...

try it with stock settings and see how u go

does anyone have a C Spanner i can borrow ?

sick of my car rubbing on the gaurds

yeah i have spanners will you be home around 4pm tomorrow or there after

FFS!!!!!

my intarwebs dropped out just as i was about to ebay sniper a 32/36 Weber for the rolla

i got a bit shirty at my modem...

funny how when you are angry it seems logical to threaten an inanimate object

lol sifnt hammer snipe

man I'm loving texas rap

they go nuts on subs. they dont get into this pose ass gangsta style

and they love to mod their cars, drink syrup and have a good time

downloaded a paul wall mixtape a couple weeks ago... cant knock it. it bangs hard in the car with a sub or two

i really dig that half the songs from texas are about pimping rides... should check it out sometime ;D

Paul Wall :

im still tippin' fours, cadillacs all up on swangaz

im grippin woodgrain, with diamond rings up on my fangaz (fingers)

im on that icy, my candy paint is drippin stainless

we back to back, 3 slabs, escallating the rangers

i'm talkin range rover, pardner, yeah its on mane

we in that big truck, choppin on 24 with blades,

(Gonna release a couple mix cds of H town to bang to)

anyone here know of , or in a band that needs a guitarist ?

bought myself a line6 toneport GX and cant stop playing, plus wouldn't mind getting back into a band as its been a few years !

been a long time since i jammed but im keen to get back into it. have a custom telecaster that has seen a bit too much dust

got a jmp-1 preamp and a big muff to boot, just need some power amp love

    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
