Right.... This is probably why i find that some jap cars have seized toe bolts, and are out by 21mm. (Treating them like commodores in my opinion)

Not to mention the fact its a 40 dollar, every 10,000km kinda thing. i spend more money on a cruize.

no skin of my back if he doesn't get a wheel alignment,

just i know that his toe would be out. and its good to check all the figures are even after installing coil-overs.

either way you don't NEED a wheel alignment, but your car does handle better, steer better, and wear tires better if you do.

Hence the fact i wheel align my car ever 5000km with oil change. (i would still do it even if i didn't work at bob Jane)

haha yeah i know how important a proper wheel alignment can be, will go get one done tommorow but was only wandering if it was absolutely necessary just so i know.

last week when i went to get mine done, all the settings were all over the place. cant tell you how much of a difference i felt after it was done! completely different car.

parts off my gtr

twin garrets (assuming stock) very good condition minimal shaft play all lines included

+ r32 gtr mines computer need this gone in next 2 days $450 the lot

WOoOoOohOoOooO!!!! Just picked up my 2007 R6 today!!! loving life but hated life on the ride home from prospect - paralowie its SO HOT!!!!!

well here she is... im so happy :D

I heard word that you're not licensed to be riding an R6.

If you do not have a license to ride the R6 then you should stick to learner approved motorcycles. Most bikers (as well as cops) do not take too kindly to unlicensed/restricted riders on bikes they're not permitted to.

If this is not the case, then happy riding. ;)

lol, GOLD......expect a visit Kietz!

now where's that post about you riding in the heat a week or so ago?!

ahaha come come ^_^ what can anyone do =] i was the passenger ;)

are you serious or do you actually think you're one step ahead of authorities?

need I remind you of a certain very tall building in Walkerville that records activity at every major intersection in Adelaide and can identify you by a pimple on your nose if needs be?

and did I neglect to mention that I'm a CTP Investigator?

one day when I grow up I wanna be as clever as Kietz.

just wondering if someone with the right picture editing program can turn this into the appropriate size and pixel for avatar?? seems windows paint is a little obsolete. many thanks

not to take anything away from Damo's effort here is my effort

lol Pete shakes head @ Keitz, one day we all grow up one day (dw im still not there but i like to think from 10 years ago ive grown a little)

Which bob jane

i haven't had an alignment done ever in this car would be interesting to come and see where it all lies

I work at Henley Beach Road Bob Jane.

Near Marion Road And Henley Beach Intersection.

Not a worry. I'm just fussy about my figures and how much better it feels to just toe it up every so often.

    • That's probably OK. That's a face to face compression joint between two surfaces with the clamping load provided by those bolts. So.... it's unlikely that the bolts will end up feeling that load in shear, unless the clamping surfaces are not large enough, bolts not got enough tension on them, etc etc to prevent the two faces from moving wrt each other. Which... I would hope the designers have considered, seeing as it's probably one of the most important things the upright has to do apart from resist collapsing in its own right. But yes, it would definitely be worth asking them what their safety factor on that part of the design was. I tend to think that the casting, being a casting, is not necessarily the strongest bit of material in the world. It's about an inch square, and when you think about the loads that are being put into it, you have to wonder what safety factor the Nissan boys (and every other OEM engineer who has designed all the millions of other uprights that look essentially the same) used to account for defective casting, aging, severe impacts on the wheel, etc etc.
    • Those bolts would be orders of magnitude stronger that cast aluminium though.  And its mainly clamping force, not shear they are dealing with?
    • Except all that twisting force that is breaking a cast piece, appears to be going through 4 bolts in the picture Johnny posted of the BryPar one...
    • The smart approach is to use the gearbox loom from the manual car. Makes it a lot easier - just plugs into the switches on the box and plugs into the main loom up near the fusebox. Then you only need to deal with bypassing the inhibit switch. The other approach requires you to use the wiring diagram to identify those wires by colour and location, perhaps even indulging in a little multimeter action to trace them end to end to make sure, and then.... you will have the answers you need. The R34 wiring diagram is available on-line (no, I do not have a link to it myself - I would have to do a search if I wasn't able to go to the copy I have at home).
    • Hi, i’m converted my r34 4dr auto to manual but need help with gearbox wiring. There are bunch of wires no idea which one for speedo drive, neutral, reverse can anyone help me. IMG_6860.mov
