mate most happy washes have a tap spout near the little house deal where you get coins???, (for washing out sham's or filling buckets),, or put the soap in after the bucket is full...and stir with hands to make foam..???? another way spray the sprayer into a rag to keep the water in the bucket while filling on high pressure

keeps you from looking like a frothy maniac escaped from glenside..hahaha

Dan should be paying people to clean his car at this rate.... bloody accountants

-D

I just had a worthless mental revelation(sad I know), in the future world leaders would be required to play "SIM CITY" before being placed on the ballot to see if they can run it without going bankrupt or riots in the street in the first ten min..lol

CEO's too

How about: future world leaders should have their lips sewn shut :D

slow day today. Ruby must be busy at work, same as Krishy, and Dan must be on another work field trip :D and scandy, sleeping?

Easy day for the mods, nothing to read :P

The quiet before the storm. Waiting for the mods to be pre-occupied with Clipsal :D

question is, what do you think? if your gonna do it, are you gonna worry more about if SAU likes it, or if you like it?

I do like it, have already got bronze wheels with blue nuts just thought someone might have an even better idea for the caliper colour

+1 blue calipers yes lugnuts no - gets too blingy IMO - unless that is your thing then go ahead.

Alot have said that but I don't think it's bling at all, just think that blue goes well with bronze especially on black car but was thinking there might be a better option for caliper I haven't thought of yet. I was also thinking plain flat black for the caliper....

A little boy walks into his parents' room to see his mum on top of his dad bouncing up and down. The mum sees her son and quickly dismounts, worried about what her son has seen. She dresses quickly and goes to find him.

The son sees his mum and asks, 'What were you and Dad doing?'

The mother replies, 'Well, you know your dad has a big tummy and sometimes I have to get on top of it and help flatten it...'

'Your wasting your time,' said the boy.

'Why is that?' the mom asked puzzled.

'Well when you go shopping the lady next door comes over and gets on her knees and blows it right back up.'

    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
    • Continental have consistently beaten the absolute shit out of every other performance tyre in Wet/Damp/Cold conditions and give up a little bit of time (half a second at most) in the dry. Almost like it's engineered for German conditions or something. I'd def give those a try.
