yeah nice looking "R32" there .... and it's non-turbo ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Lmao.... not only does it say r32 GTR when it is clearly a R34 gt they quote the engine size at 2.6l non turbo. I was TOTALLY fooled. Definately a GTR... this is on my must have list.

7 psi i think i read was the max u could do on the stock internals.

but the learning experience in doing a DE+T would be good!

go thicker gasket to run more boost? it'll be safer as well

but i quite liked your first intial idea of going for the tomei 2.8 kit! it could've really been a real weapon with the right cams

I don't think so Pete. I made the mistake of calling his brother "Anthony" a few weeks ago and he didn't look impressed :(

He understood it was a genuine error and didn't think I was taking the piss.

^^ yes but unlike being a journalist or a cop, car driving itself isnt a job... unless youre a taxi driver or something

So firstly you say it isn't a job, then you say it is a job...

Spent the morning getting of a small hangover.

Spent the arvo pulling all my FMIC piping off and replacing all the clamps. Still waiting on the silicone reducers, but I'll keep using the old ones. Lex has bought my old fmic kit (including piping, clamps and reducers) and he's been patiently waiting for me to get the whole kit together.

Weekends are never long enough :)

i wonder how hard it would be to fit one of these bad boys under the bonnet of the 31

Mack RM6-285 - 11.3L 285HP inline 6 with 285hp / 1150Nm torque

probably difficult, but more important - do you want to use 31 for towing lol?

    • Hi guys, I've just bit the bullet on a forged rebuild for my 25det looking at making 600rwhp with the built engine. Having always been a butthurt for big brakes, I'd like to upgrade the fronts. I have looked at a few different websites, not have really stood out to me. What are some good quality front brakes, are the Attkd ones any good?    Thanks.
    • Went out for drive with Jackie for a while in the Mazda and whilst it was raining cats and dogs, the interior and boot are still nice and dry so the top and drains are working well to keep the elements out, winning
    • And yes would be going to tomei Japan for sure as it’s closer to me …
    • Yeah I heard the same. Might be hard to order one. But then I guess can go to hks or go to a more expensive n1 block with tomei. Guess will jump the hurdle once I get there next upgrade around. I can’t get work done in the states as the lead time will take for ever on top of shipping to Hong Kong.
    • https://www.platinumracingproducts.com/en-us/products/nissan-rb26-cast-blocks This is the solution I was thinking of. I would stay away from Tomei USA, their quality is a question mark to me. If you want an engine machined in the US contact Club DSPORT: https://clubdsport.com/ Tomei JP is probably fine but I recall they stopped doing pre-assembled short or long blocks. In general it's pretty tough to get any kind of RB26 block at the moment with Nissan so severely backordered.
