I likey!!! Now ... how much do they cost? ;) I like the rims too ... what are they? Anyone?

How much diff is there between S1 and S2 kits?

Oh, and I got offered a swap with my current 19" Impuls for 18" Impuls, but have not heard back from person and can't recall who they were. Is it anyone here?

i think luke was keen.

That 4 door 33 is absolutly fcuking minta!

I want a new clutch but I am undecided about what clutch to get and what brand - I got someone to install it thats not an issue but yeah.

Whats everyone using? I'd want one that will hold 300kw nicley

Other then going multiplate clutch a button clutch seems like the go but what has everyone paid here for them etc?

Some advice please ;)

My GTR is a 92' so still has the push type clutch.

Depends on how you like to drive to what sort of clutch you get, I'm running a extra heavy duty Extreme single plate with over 300rwkw's, but i do take it pretty easy on it (no hi rpm launches) if my clutch was to shit itself i'd go for a twin plate for sure.

Much better me thinks!

Now I've got the turbo timer removed. Tomorrow I pick up stock rims for it too. I'd rather pay for 16" rubber than 19" rubber. This week I also get a Berklee resonator welded in too. Then she's all cop friendly.

Needs less monster truck.

Unfortunately, this is to be the daily ... must keep the popo happy. Rims are going ... got something else in mind. Type M side skirts and pods by next weekend hopefully. I'll source a type M bar at a later date ... this'll do for now.

for those that remember my car in its heyday, before track work

gone from this when i bought it

Not too much difference ruby, reo is slightly different though i think. Skirts, rear bar and pods are the same, send Son a pm and see if he still has the sedan pods for sale.

Sooooo, if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in buying my R34, please let me know. Taking quiet "eoi"s at this stage, as I don't really want to sell it, but have my eye on something different .... mine makes 230rwkw and I just added up a shopping list of mods I have done to it and it totals around $12k of extras. I am hoping for around $25k.

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
