Cara,

Went and got some quotes today for polishing bits in the engine bay ...

Rocker covers $120 total

Upper plenum $200

Rad mounts $30

Crossover pipe $20

Pipes to/from cooler $60 (chromed, not polished)

They need the bits for "a few days" ... might take my Stag off the road for a week, get it done :)

Also fitted all my new Gates belts too ... except one, which was 50mm oversized :D

Also ...

Bought a trans cooler kit too. Wanna get an alloy 52mm radiator soon. Do it all in one hit ... after dyno day me thinks.

found out earlier today that a friend of mine was in a pretty bad crash the other day on the way home from skydiving in victor,

tyre blew out at about 70km/h (in a 110 zone) and sent her spearing into a tree, broken collarbone, broken arm, assorted cuts and bruises, passenger copped a fractured rib and an a punctured lung, shes lucky she wasnt doing the limit, she probably woulda been brought home in a black vinyl bag if she was, and the fact that there was another car a few hundred metres behind, yeah... pretty close to home.

sorry to hear big dave.

for those that are interested, we had another 4D scan this arvo, got 40 odd photos and dvd of the little one.

this is just a couple of Lachlan at 30 weeks, less than ten to go

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
