Nice R Jarred but you do realise that when you own an import you are forbidden to park any closer than 30cm to the curb so you never risk scratching your rims.

I will forgive this 1st offence but please be mindful of your proximity next time you park your car.

Thanks dude. But seeing as I've come from a 32 with the rims extremely hanging out of the guards I'm pretty careful when approaching gutters.

Mod list to check off in the next 6 months.

Kakimoto Regu 06

Tein super street coilovers

18x10+12 TE37

New air intake (can't even hear my BOV  )

Got the car back after getting the hubs painted and the calipers powder coated... also had my spoiler mounted again and took the front spoiler lip to get prepped for the riverland show... some pix

Few more touch ups required on the boot, the bonnet and the drivers door and a couple tiny dents on the passenger side. Not much more to go..

because there abbo's and the legal system in australia is too scared of not being politically correct so f**ks like then get back on the street for the simple fact they are abbo.

Well I just got defected. Done for cage, suspension, steering wheel. First defect on the car ever. Off to regency I go

I feel your pain i got done last month they said my steering wheel was to small aswell but its withing the requirements...

So you are actually going to have the front lip on it? Thought you took it off because its only for "track cars"

no i took it off because i kept scraping driveways and speed humps and the like and i was damaging the shit out of it

as it is I had to get it bogged and sanded in many places

its going on for the riverland show, and then it'll come straight off until I can get some replacement suspension that increases my ride height by at least a cm if not 2

Your ride height is far from low

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
