Guys, going to the sydney motor show this weekend and obviously taking my camera. I have two cameras and wanted to know

a) which one to take, and

b) how to take good photos in the motor show inside environment.

I got these two camera, one is a cheapo and the other is my dads.

Olympus c-750

Olympus fe-220

Thanks guys

Take the FE220, it's an ok camera, good for personal shots and things, the other one is a bit old, round 4-5 years i'm guessing? and only 4MP vs 7.1, not that MP matters, it's all about image quality, optical zoom and ISO, both have pretty low zooms 3x and 4x,

So i reckon the FE220

If you are looking into getting into real good photography later on, I'd recommend if you're on a budget of say $500

get the FujiFilm S5700 and a 2-4gb SD card + some rechargable AA batteries, it takes nice quality photos 10x optical zoom, good for point and shoot work

or hardcore styles a Canon 30D or 40D then say a 35-200mm lense, will easily set you back a few grand, usually round 3k

Make sure you post the pics up of any good skylines at the show  have fun dude

Haha cheers mate, don't think there will be any skylines, I wish the new gtr would be there but don't think im that lucky.

Ur right about the c-750, although it does have 10x optical zoom and far more manual features, not that i know how to use them though ;-)

The fe220 seems to be quite a nice point and shoot camera, but most of the photos i have taken in darkish environments turn out weird.

Be patient... There will be a lot of people in there... people will walk infront of you, and they will bump you...

Eventually you'll get the shot you want... and the more important your camera looks, the more people that will stop for you

Get a lanyard around your neck too :)

Take both and look REALLY important!

then you can compare the results so you know for next time..

Haha i like the way you all think!!! Will have two cameras and a lanyard, and somehow i'll make my camera look cool and im set!

Yea i think i will take both, get the missus to use one and ill use the other. Ill take heapsa pics and post all the good ones hear...hopefullly the chicks....

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
