I'm currently going through the engine rebuild process (rb26) and will be putting in a set of tomei poncams 9.15mm lift 260 drg duration. Now i know i don't need to upgrade the valve springs but with the standard ones being 17 odd yrs old and with me wanting to to do hill climbs e.t.c and generally rev the tit's off it  i think chucking in some upgraded springs will give me piece of mind. I'm at a loss as to which valve springs to get. Looking on nengun tomei have 3 different sizes starting at 10.8mm lift ones... do i use these or should i be looking for specific 9.15mm lift springs?

Cheers,

Rob

i got a set from performance springs for my neo head and using same cam specs aswell. From memory they can take up to 12mm lift. Main reason i upgraded them was to avoid valve float and constant high rpm.
