So.... way back in 2004 when I was looking for a new car, and was really giving into the idea of owning a Skyline like I'd always wanted, I came across this vehicle that looked a cross between a Volvo and an R34. And I thought it was great!

I mean, who wouldn't want a 2.5l Turbo, 4WD and all the convenience of a wagon right?

But I was 24, and I hate manual cars..... and back then I had no idea of the convenience a wagon can make in day to day life. So, coupled with the fact that there weren't many around then, and I was still a little apprehensive to import on my first go, I decided to look at R33s instead.

Scoot forward to 3 years down the track.... and god am I regretting that decision :P

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my 'line.... it's been a shitload of fun from the first minute I was in it.

But these days, being in two bands, and trying to squeeze my bass rig in the back of a Skyline is a pain in the arse. Plus the fact that we have two large dogs and my girlfriend owns a Swift, it'd be really nice to take the pups for a drive somewhere.

I only wish now that I didn't owe so much damn money mto stupid banks, or that my 33 was worth more then 11k :D

le sigh....... just thought I'd share that with you fun lovin Stagea peeps just in case anyone needed reminding how lucky and clever they are to go with the bigger version.

Anyone wanna swap? lol

LOL.....classic!!!!

Had to sell my XR6 due to the third kid coming.

However buying an M35 AR-X.....big jump up from a shitbox Ford.....Best thing is that I have convinced the wife that it not only looks like a Volvo it goes like one.....lol....ain't she in for a suprise....LOL!!!!

got to luv those rear seats folding flat, my golf clubs and buggy also my mates clubs and buggy a couple of cartons etc etc, reclining rears are also a good thing, but i bet if you put your mind to it funky you'd be able to find a few more posistions in your line :w00t:

Just dont scratch your bonnet. Or do what i did and leave very clear marks in the dust. It was pretty clear beyond a shadow of a doubt what the imprints were.

We've all done it....

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
    • wedding eh.....I seem to get to more funerals than weddings or christenings these days....
