Middle Brake Light

Hi guys,

Would anyone know what this could be?

My top middle brake light that sits inside the cars when braking goes bright then dims down at the same time. Then when you take off after a few minutes it goes bright then dims down, sort of fluctuates its brightness weird?

If you drop down the top trim in the boot, there's a connector that goes to it. Firstly I would unplug it and test it with a voltmeter and see if there are fluctuations in the voltage there while the brake is applied. Go from there.
