Can someone explain the difference in having a standard SMIC for an ER34 GTT and say a Trust SMIC replacement. I do not know the dimensions of the Standard SMIC for er34, would anyone know? @ least then i can compare to the aftermarket Nissan Skyline ER34 RB25DET 98/5-01/6 SPEC-R Type 13 H194/L250/W119mm 3 Layer that Trust make and say whether or not thickness of core makes a difference. But if they are same dimesions..whats the point of changing the standard with the aftermarket SMIC?

Cheers

steve

TRUST one might FLOW better.

but still, if it's same size, cooling capability wouldn't be much better.

the size of the stock unit can be found on here.

search for it.

EDIT: Shit..

119 thick is definitely thicker than stock.

so the cooling would be better.

anyway, search for the stock specs..

it has been posted.

search by user Sydneykid.

Basically if your keeping the stock turbo (or a minor upgrade)

The SMIC would be the better choice over a 'large' FMIC. The dimensions wouldnt be the same, id imagine the trust to flow air better, and be thicker - perfectly suited to application on the first line of my post
