Two Uniteds that I know of -

Corner of Goodwood and Crossroad

And there's another up in blackwood.

The Liberty fuel appears to be an E10 fuel also.

So no doubt should offer the same advantages. I might check out the local liberty; if they have the E10 I might look at getting the car tuned on it. There isn't a United close enough. :P

Yeah i'm at Payneham and the closest United is on Prospect Rd which is about 10-15mins away. Imagine my frustation when i found out they were completely sold out of Boost 98 when i got there!

Premium Max wasn't cheap though, $1.33 p/L on a Mon evening, never seen Boost 98 go more then $1.30.

the liberty site is fairly unhelpful in trying to find out about the petrol they sell. they dont really have any information or links about the premium max stuff.

let us know how it goes.

I know, i reckon the website is right though. In which case the price wasn't very cheap at all. Not expecting any wonders, Boost 98 didn't do much economy wise.

hmm.

well according to the site both the unleaded 94 and premiumax 98 are E10.

I put some of the Shell Ferrari tested fuel (VMax?) and my R34 pinged its ring off the 1st time I booted it. Siphoned it out and went straight back to reliable Mobil 8000 or BP Ultimate

hi all,

i've been using Vpower eversince i got my car, and seems ok. never tried bp ultimate. my car is pretty much stock and wondering wether these diffeent fuel make any differences.... i just want my car to be safe... i hear someone's car was pinging while using Vpower? that's a worrie.,.. i might have to try BP ultimate although bp fuel seem to be more expensive...

you cant always blame the fuel because your car pinged you have to try and factor in all the invariables

my car occasionally pings but I'm running 12.5-13 psi on a stock ECU

when it pings the weather is normally a bit warmer too

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
