Were you using a PL filter on the sky to make it gradient like that? Be also interested to know what shutter speed you chose for the action pics

Click on 'Images info' below image(on webpage), has lots of settings info inc. Shutter Speed, or can use Photoshop(or similar) and view meta data attached... either has the info stored

No PL filter on his gear (and the stuff of mine he was using) it's too expensive to buy Circ. Pols for the 300mm L and the 70-200 L
