Mongoose M80am Installation Cost

Hi,

Just wanted to double check that im not being ripped off or told inaccurate information.

I found a store that can install a Mongoose M80AM for $500, plus an extra $80 to install a turbo timer that i will supply. Now he is saying that because central locking only works from the driver side door, that i will need a solenoid installed in the passenger door in order to have keyless entry working, and this will cost an extra $60.

So all up $640 plus the timer. It this a reasonable price?

I paid about $900 dollars for the purchase and installation of the M80 alarm, immobiliser, soliniod for passanger door and wind window up extra (about $250)

It will already have a solenoid in the passenger door, you'll need one in the Drivers door.

oooooo....im booked in for tomorrow, to get a mongoose M80s fitted for $495 total ^^

i payed a guy $200 bucks to install a M80G into my pulsar .. door , boot , bonnet and micro sensor. i had brought the unit off a mate for $200 as he got it as a present

ok price is correct. as is the list then gave. actuator is for DRIVERS door though.

you need to find a licenced installer first off. there are a couple listed in the professionals thread up top. as for price - up to them.
