Hi Guys

Just for a laugh, I thought that I'd reproduce the SWAT stickers that a few cars had on import.

The original SWAT sticker was for the Japanese owners "club", the website now doesn't seem to work.

I have modified the sticker for WA members of the forum.

So it now reads Stagea Western Australian Team.

I always thought they were kinda cute/kitch/very Japanese.

As I said it's just for a laugh.... if anyone wants one, I'll print up a few and give them out at meetings.

If anyone wants one for other states (overseas) I'd be glad to modify it (with whatever). All you need to pay for interstate is the postage.

Cheers

John

So far these people have shown interest.....

Jippa

Wildcat

Red Sky

Joe 26f (I think)

Stage Name

Fuzzy

Lil Bobby 260

Sleepy Night

Brycey

Oddy Man

Stagpower

Goldzilla

Madaz R33

I have decided to do 20 of each of the Kyoshu & Kunji stickers and send them to one person in each state.

Can I have nominations please.

I will do up the designs of the T-shirts soon and post 'em up.

But I think that I will start a separate thread to this one..... it's already getting confusing!!

this would be cool. i would love 1 thanks mate, what dimensions we looking at

155mm wide x 55 high.

incidentally I didn't mention that the original stickers were Stagea Web for Advanced Tune.

So NSW maybe can be N.S.W.A.T (NSW Australian Team)

Vic .... V.S.W.A.T (Victorian Stagea With Attitude Team)

Etc, Etc

Maybe you can think up better ones...... brain storming always works best.....('cept very early in the morning!).

Hmmm I also thought that maybe we should do some T-shirts... same (or similar design) whadya think? I can do them and they'll be real cheap.... about $15 each, white only (have them in stock), Iron on logo etc.

comments please.

uhh i dunno if you should have that URL as long and hard to remember as it is...

maybe just use www.stageasaustralia.com

Coz that address doesn't work?:D

valid point...

will try and get that pointing to the subforum.

Christian does own that web address, doesn't he, Shan? I know he used to... If you can get the link happening, that would be tops!

John, assuming Shan can get the address to link to here, I'll take two stickers and a shirt if you get them printed up!

Id be in on the original style sticker too, in maybe the t-shirt (I would rather black with white writing though, to be picky....)

Although, I really like this one, add to the "wtf factor" with the Japanese writing on a sticker.

Sorry about the size, but you'll get the gist.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
