hey everyone could someone help me. ive got a complete system set up in my car and out of no where few weeks ago my front right speaker pretty much turns off. if i set my balance and fade to it turn it up real loud its still very very soft but not off. everything else is fine.

its running of an amp aswell.

does anyone know what could be causing this?

^^^ exactly. try swapping the RCAs around so that the left and right channels are swapped. if the same speaker is dim, then check all wiring after the amp. there may be a short somewhere. if swapping them also swaps what speaker is dim, then check with another set of RCAs, as they may be damaged. if this doesnt fix the problem, then there is a good chance that chanel on teh amp is fuxxored

i took the door trim off to check the cross over. nothing is loose. i swapped the tweeter speaker to the +3 or 5db what ever it is i cant remember. that should of made it louder yes?? but it was the same. could the crossover be shot?
