Datsun 1600 Rolling Shell

I have a Datsun 1600 for sale, selling due to insufficient funds and never having enough time to do decent work on it. Body is in mint condition no rust anywhere this is one of the cleanest 1600 shells around. Very minor body work is required for paint and I will try to get this done as time permits. I have installed a Datsport SR conversion cross member and a Datsport bump steer support bracket. Radiator hole has been cut out larger and gearbox hole has been modified to suit a SR 5speed. I have also installed a 600 x 400 front mount intercooler and modified appropriate brackets to fit. I have R31 seats, front and rear hubs, disks and calipers. This is a complete rolling shell all interior and exterior parts are included in the sale even if they are not pictured. I’ve included as much detail as I can think of if any one has questions just shoot me a PM or email.

Price: $2000 ono

Location: Caboolture, QLD.

Trades: Will trade for car trailer, RB25 DET, road or dirt bike.

MOD’S: Datsport SR cross member and bump steer bracket, R31 skyline seats front and rear hubs, disks, calipers and strut assembly. Painted in grey primer.

If your too poor, cant afford it, or are a dreamer dont speak or clog up other pplz threads. People like u "mosgay" clog well respected forums like SAU, find a home sumwhere else to waste ya time.

Newayz the 1600 is still for sale for genuine buyers. Merry Christmas all.

lol..... 2500 is a reasonable price i've been looking for one of these for ages and i've seen heaps in worse condition for alot more money, good luck with the sale if i had the cash i'd take it off your hands would be a great project car

I want to turn this into a project Car But obviously i have to get it registered First, Do you have all the parts for it for me to Pass the Pits inspection , they dont have to be installed i can install them, Because in your pics i cant see any engine ?

The awnser to your question is "no". Its a rolling shell with a SR conversion kit (no engine). I dont know what the laws are like down south but i think u may need a engine to regester it. I would advise in getting a SR halfcut of sum sort and using the all supporting bits eg: break booster, radiator etc.

This "rolling shell" has everything stock except motor and box even if the items are not pictured they will still be included in the sale.

      I gotta pull you up on this. It's driving me crazy. A shutter is something that closes, like over a window or in a cmera. The word you want is shudder. That LSD is clearly f**ked. Take it to a diff shop and get it disassembled and examined by an expert. YOu might have plates welded together or something equally crazy.

      Check the Nistune doco. There are a few assumptions being made here that might not be valid. I will list the things that occur to me: Base map. Base map for what? Base map for Z32? Then the cranking pulse width is probably wrong for an RB25. The extra 500cc of capacity might well be enough to prevent it from catching. Base map for RB25? I don't think you can load one of those into a Z32. You have to just make the settings correct for an RB25 in the Z32 base map. That is either K or the TIM to get the pulsewidth right. Loom. You bought a loom for an RB. And you plugged it into a Z32 ECU. Did you make sure that any iwre differences were swapped. From memory, there's at least a couple. And as per the others, I would suggest making sure that the fuel pressure is correct while cranking and that the injectors are actually flowing as expected. They really must come out and go on the bench, unless you do find that you have messed up as per above points. I would also suggest watching in Nistune to make sure that everything is reading correctly. That the correct binary flags are raised at the right time (like the crank signal), that there's no stupid values in K or TIM. That you have not got mismatched firmware for the ECU and/or a wrong image loaded.
